The bags are packed, the car seat is in the car, and Mom & Dad & Grandma are in town! Oh my goodness...we only have 2 more days before little Ella arrives!

I had a doctor's appt on Friday and I am not as dilated as they want me to be. They gave me some homework to do over the weekend (which I did very well!!!) and I go back to the doctor tomorrow morning. If I have not dilated any more by tomorrow then they will admit me to the hospital Tuesday night and start the drugs to get the labor process going. My doctor will come in early Wednesday morning and break my water. Soon and very soon I will be posting pictures of precious Ella!! Till then you can view more preggors pics of Mom! :0 )

38 weeks and only 5 more days to go!!!

Happy Memorial Day...spending it pool side (ok not so much real pool side...just plastic, kiddy pool side) with the puppies! Yeah being pregnant and wearing a bikini is SOOO DIFFERENT than not being pregnant and wearing a bikini! Oh well...Mama still has to get a tan! :)

I tried to so hard to get Winston and Macy to get in the pool but they weren't having it. Winston did love to drink out of it though!

Saturday I had my Lubbock baby shower! It was great and we got TONS of great stuff! There are pictures of the itty bitty bikini (soooo cute, its leopard print) from mom and dad, the dedication dress from mom and dad, an awesome soft rug for Ella's room from the Colemans, Aggie sign from the Biggers, and a camcorder from Coach and Karen!! Check out the pictures (they are not in order though).

34 weeks and counting!


Last saturday Clay and I completed our child birth classes!! WOOHOO! I have to say that I was really afraid that the class and all the rumored videos were going to terrify me of labor, but I have a whole new perspective now! Bring it on labor...I feel so ready and prepared now! I also learned so many things that I never even knew about my own body! Did you know that the uterus is the strongest muscle in our bodies...even stronger than any muscle in a mans body! God definitely knew what he was doing when he decided the woman would carry and deliver babies!! :) I am also so excited about the hospital (not that I wasn't before, because I do work at this hospital!), but even more so now!! All the things that they do to make sure their babies are safe and secure is awesome!

I had a doctor's appt last Friday and we are planning on inducing on June 23rd!! HOORAY...I can hardly wait!

Clay and I went on a babymoon trip this weekend to Dallas!! We had so much fun!! We ate A LOT of really great food, shopped for both of us, watched the Rangers beat the Royals, and had some much needed mom and dad to be time together! I have the most amazing husband in the world and I cannot wait to bring a sweet baby into our amazing family!! Check out the pictures of our fun weekend! Last night started the first of many of assembling things for little Ella! Clay put together the stroller/carseat and the sweet little swing! He is going to be such a GREAT Daddy! Check out the pictures!!
