Saturday I had my Lubbock baby shower! It was great and we got TONS of great stuff! There are pictures of the itty bitty bikini (soooo cute, its leopard print) from mom and dad, the dedication dress from mom and dad, an awesome soft rug for Ella's room from the Colemans, Aggie sign from the Biggers, and a camcorder from Coach and Karen!! Check out the pictures (they are not in order though).

34 weeks and counting!


Last saturday Clay and I completed our child birth classes!! WOOHOO! I have to say that I was really afraid that the class and all the rumored videos were going to terrify me of labor, but I have a whole new perspective now! Bring it on labor...I feel so ready and prepared now! I also learned so many things that I never even knew about my own body! Did you know that the uterus is the strongest muscle in our bodies...even stronger than any muscle in a mans body! God definitely knew what he was doing when he decided the woman would carry and deliver babies!! :) I am also so excited about the hospital (not that I wasn't before, because I do work at this hospital!), but even more so now!! All the things that they do to make sure their babies are safe and secure is awesome!

I had a doctor's appt last Friday and we are planning on inducing on June 23rd!! HOORAY...I can hardly wait!

Clay and I went on a babymoon trip this weekend to Dallas!! We had so much fun!! We ate A LOT of really great food, shopped for both of us, watched the Rangers beat the Royals, and had some much needed mom and dad to be time together! I have the most amazing husband in the world and I cannot wait to bring a sweet baby into our amazing family!! Check out the pictures of our fun weekend! The last picture is me being silly and taking a photo with the monkey we bought Ella at the Rainforest Cafe! :)

Last night started the first of many of assembling things for little Ella! Clay put together the stroller/carseat and the sweet little swing! He is going to be such a GREAT Daddy! Check out the pictures!!

but he finished and it's SOOOOO CUTE!!! I love the little lamb ears! :)

So last night was not the most enjoyable evening of my pregnancy. I had a really busy day at work and was on my feet pretty much all day. I went to the bathroom right before I left work to head home and noticed some blood. I immediately called the doctor's office and they asked if I had felt Ella move much during the day and if I was having any cramping. It sounds crazy but I have gotten so used to her moving that when I am really busy and not concentrating on it I really don't notice. I also had some cramping and braxton hicks throughout the day. The nurse told me to go home and put my feet up and eat something really sugary to get her to move.

Long story short...there was not much movement and still some bleeding so we decided to go to the hospital. We got to Labor and Delivery and it didn't take any longer than about 7 mins to get me in a gown and hooked up to monitors. We immediately heard her heart beat and it was the most beautiful sound I have ever heard!!! The nurse was so sweet and encouraging too! They also put a monitor on me to watch for contractions, but there was nothing measureable enough to worry about. They monitored Ella's heartbeat for about an hour and it looked great and sounded great (about 134 beats a min). We were then able to unhook from everything and go home.

They said if there was still blood today to call my doctor...but thank you Jesus there has not been any since we left the hospital last night!! Also, Ella has really been moving around A LOT!!

I am taking it real easy today and staying put at my desk!
