Ella's Dedication Ceremony was so very special! It was special dedicating her to the Lord and also having her grandparents and great-grandmother there too!

So 2011 has started out to be a year of freezing COLD weather. I really don't see how people can leave in REALLY COLD weather...I mean it's cold here but nothing compared to what some folks up North expereince. Let's just say that they are better than I.
2011 has also proved to start out with a lot of running noses, stopped up noses, coughing, some high fever and LOTS of use of the booger sucker (the technical term I am sure). Ella has had quiet the cold and and can't seem to shake it. I also got some of her symptoms along with 2 days of a high fever. Not that I am saying I am smarter than the doctor that I went to see, but I think had I more than an upper respiratory infection...I am just saying it felt more like the FLU! Yes, the flu! I getting over it and thank the Lord that Clay never got it and Ella has escaped with only a mild something (not the flu).
We do keep her pretty bundled up when there is any chance for going outdoors!
This was the picture I took right before I put all the warm gear on! I don't think she liked it too much!
Ella is learning to not hate being on her tummy as much now. Actually, yesterday I saw signs of maybe some crawling in our near future! And the camera (well mommy really) loves her baby blue eyes!
Last weekend we had Ella's dedication ceremony at church and it was so special! I will post pictures soon!!
Another really interesting thing that has recently happened in our life is we have put our house up for sale! We are praying for a quick sale because we have found a house that we really love and could see ourselves in for a long time! I will keep you posted on the progess!! Goodbye for now and until I have more to write about! : )

At the table!
Ella is using her booster now and sitting at the table like a big girl!
Gig Em Aggies!!
This past weekend Clay and I (yes without Ella...more about that later) went to Dallas to watch the Aggies play in the Cotton Bowl at Jerry's World. The Aggies did not have a successful victory but we had fun none the less!! I have to say if you have not been to Cowboy Stadium...you must go and see this monstrosity! There were over 83,000 screeming people there (LSU and Aggie fans). The stadium is sooo BIG! It was a great expereince!!
We were so proud that our good ole Aggies made it to the Cotton Bowl!! We also had SOOO MUCH fun hanging out with awesome friends that we had not seen in a long time!! So to the part about not bringing Ella with us...she stayed with Clay's parents and this was our first weekend away without her. I cried a good portion of the way to Dallas, but once we got there I was ok (still missed her like CRAZY). She had a fun weekend with her grandparents, but was really excited to see us when we got home!!! I almost cried again when I saw her because I was sooo happy to see her!!!
Hello 2011!!!!! What an exciting year 2010 has been...but we cannot wait to find out what 2011 will bring!!
Clay, Ella and I celebrated the coming of 2011 at Hayashi Habachi and Sushi. We had so much fun!! Ella loved watching the cook and we met some really nice people that were sitting at the table with us.

It's December 30th and my new years resolution is to be a better blogger!! It's something I really enjoy so I am going to make more time for it.
Our life the past few months has been amazing!! Ella is 6 months old and the absolute delight of our life. I love her so much it overwhelms me sometimes. She looks more and more like her daddy everyday. She even has his laid back, happy disposition.
She is the happiest baby I have ever seen! She has the best laugh...it's from her gut and shakes her whole body!
Along with the birth of our Lord and Saviour we celebrated Ella's first Christmas!!! She had no idea what was really going on but I think she enjoyed herself! We have lots (don't worry I won't post them all) of pictures to prove it!
She is also starting to sit up on her own!!
It is soooo hard to believe that we will be celebrating 2011 tomorrow night/Saturday! What an incredible year 2010 has been!!
God Bless you all and I will see ya next year! : )

Wow how time flies when you are having the best time of your life!! So I realize it has been WAY TOO long since I have last updated the blog so here you go!!
Ella is now 4 months and 2 days old..OMG!!! A couple of weekends ago I decided to go through her clothes and box up some/a lot of the things that she has already out grown. Clay walked into her room and I was sitting on the floor sobbing. :( It is just so hard to believe that she is growing so fast and changing so much EVERYday. Seasoned mommies tried to prepare me for ("cherish the moments because it goes by so fast") this, but I had no idea how true that statement really is. A lot has happened since I have last posted on the blog.
Ella is smiling, cooing and laughing out loud more and more every day. Although no one can make her smile and laugh like her Daddy. She is for sure going to be a Daddy's girl...and not to mention she is his little mini me!
Ella has also started on rice cereal. Some days she LOVES it and other days she HATES it. One thing if for sure though...every time she makes a mess!! :)
Ella is the biggest Aggie fan...also future alum! :)
Fall is definitely in the air!
We also went pumpkin shopping with our little Punkin!
Ella loves her exersaucer!
This weekend Gigi and Papa are coming in town to celebrate Ella's 1st Halloween...stay tuned for Halloween pics!! We are so excited and cannot wait for them to get here!!
Well thats about all I have time for now, but I promise to be better about updating the Lehnen family blog!! Before I go a couple more photos of our precious Ella!
