After a very lengthy wait at the doctor's office today we finally got in!! Everything went GREAT!! We did all the routine stuff (ck blood pressure, weight, & teetee sample) and then had an ultrasound!! This was my 30 week appointment so we were excited about getting to see Ella in 3D! And oh my gosh....the wait was worth it!! She is soooo PERFECT and I could not believe how much she looks like me!! I got very emotional when I saw her!! I am just so overwhelmed with how much I love her (and she isn't even here yet).

The 3D part of the ultrasound was so cool...you could see everything so clear. In these pictures there is a lot of fluid (the weird looking stuff around her face) so it was hard to get a still picture of her. She also kept moving around so much. The last picture where she has her lips puckered up and opened was so cute during the ultrasound. She would pucker her lips and then open and close them like she was making fishy face. HAHA!! She already has such a sense of humor! She gets that from her Daddy!

She weighs 3 lbs and 8 ounces and is really fascinated with her hands! She kept moving them around in front of her face. Based on everything they saw and measured today I am 31 weeks and 5 days (quiet earlier than we thought). I also talked to the doctor about scheduling an induction about a week or so earlier than July 1st. He said he would know more of an exact date when he starts to examine my cervix (at about 35 weeks) . So technically we could have little Ella here in about 8 or 9 weeks! OMG!! YEAH!!! I cannot wait to hold her!!

I will go back to the doctor for my next appointment on May 14th.

PS...ignore the strange (but comfortable attire) in Mommy's picture. I took this right before bed Tuesday night...I am wearing a pair of Clay's boxer shorts and a tshirt that I stole from my dad's drawer at home that is terribly old and faded (but probably the softest shirt I have ever put on). Pregnancy is so glamorous! HAHA...NOT! :o )

28 weeks and 3 days!! I had a doctor's appt this past Wednesday and everything went great! They drew blood to test for the gestational diabetes (I wont get the results for several days), gave me a shot for my RH neg blood type (not too bad), and did a teetee test! We also heard little Ella's 150 beats per min heart beat!! Everything was just perfect!! We will go back in a couple of weeks for an ultrasound...we will also get a 3D picture of our little princess (hopefully she will work with us!!)!

Oh my goodness!! Words cannot even explain how blessed Clay and I are...our wonderful family and friends went over and beyond at our shower this past weekend!! We got SOOOO MUCH stuff! The shower was everything and more than what I could have ever dreamed of! It was so great getting to see and talk to friends that I do not get to see enough of! Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your kindness and generosity!

And the girls/hostess with the mostess were INCREDIBLE! They did such an amazing job putting everything together and planning it all! The cake was perfect, the flowers were beautiful, the punch was to die for, and everything else in between was just wonderful!! Thank you so much!

It took lots of hard work and a very long day of it, but the nursery is just about finished!! Dad and Clay did an amazing job painting...its the perfect color!!! Mom and I picked out all the decorations and I could not have done it without her!! Grandma was a great support and helped with the decorating as well!! She also made some killer potato salad to go with our bbq dinner!!

The only things we're missing are the rocker (it was my great-grandmother's and is being recovered to match the room), the changing pad, a couple of cutesy boxes to hold toys and stuffed animals, and the most important thing...baby Ella!! :) I also need to iron the curtains and finish the tiebacks.

We had soooo much fun decorating the room and it turned out beautifully!!! Thank you times a million (that does not even cover it) to mom and dad for ALL your help; we are so blessed!!
