Miss Ella Lanae is 6 weeks and 1 day today!! She is growing so fast!!! Mommy, Daddy, and Ella are all doing wonderful!! We think the princess is getting close to making it a habit to sleep through the night. Monday (8/2) she slept from 10:30 to 6:30 and then last night she slept till 4 and just needed a diaper change and to be reswaddled! Hopefully by the end of the week and next week, Mommy will get at least 6 to 8 hrs of sleep!! Fingers crossed!!! :)

Well now the day has come and gone and our precious gift from God is here!!!! She is absolutely perfect!! Ella Lanae Lehnen was born June 23rd at 1:39 pm weighing in at 6 lbs and 8 oz and 19 in long.

Clay and I arrived at the hospital at 5:20 am, checked into our room, got into my hospital gown and hooked up to monitors! Dr. Lampkin came in and broke my water at 8:15 and we had our 1st contraction at 9:00. The process really did go by pretty fast (well after I had dilated to a 5 and THEN got an epidural). We started pushing at 12:45 and Ella was born at 1:39. I keep saying "we" because I could not have done it without Clay....he was the most amazing coach ever. Even the nurses commented on how calm and collective he was.

The bags are packed, the car seat is in the car, and Mom & Dad & Grandma are in town! Oh my goodness...we only have 2 more days before little Ella arrives!

I had a doctor's appt on Friday and I am not as dilated as they want me to be. They gave me some homework to do over the weekend (which I did very well!!!) and I go back to the doctor tomorrow morning. If I have not dilated any more by tomorrow then they will admit me to the hospital Tuesday night and start the drugs to get the labor process going. My doctor will come in early Wednesday morning and break my water. Soon and very soon I will be posting pictures of precious Ella!! Till then you can view more preggors pics of Mom! :0 )

38 weeks and only 5 more days to go!!!

Happy Memorial Day...spending it pool side (ok not so much real pool side...just plastic, kiddy pool side) with the puppies! Yeah being pregnant and wearing a bikini is SOOO DIFFERENT than not being pregnant and wearing a bikini! Oh well...Mama still has to get a tan! :)

I tried to so hard to get Winston and Macy to get in the pool but they weren't having it. Winston did love to drink out of it though!
